Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop the OER environment based on multimedia wiki technology that can activate the use of OER through practicing ‘opening’ in more intrinsic meaning. For this study, we analyzed the current state of OER in Korea and other countries and deliberated on the direction of their development in a way of maximizing the educational value of OER and securing sustainability. Second, we actualized the design principle in consideration of the nature of learning 2.0. Finally we developed the prototype so that it can induce users’ participation on the basis of design principles.
