Abstract
The purpose of the research was to evaluate and study activities and assignments performed in a first grade classroom, and determine if the use of a multimedia tool will impact student learning. As we educate 21st century students, it is vital they are adequately prepared. The focus of this research will be to analyze the effects, advantages, and disadvantages of a multimedia tool in a first grade classroom. The research will also weigh current and existing research based on utilization of multimedia. The framework used to drive this research into theoretical context was based on the Constructivist Approach, Multiple Intelligences, and Multimedia.
