Abstract

The purpose of the proposal is to develop a learning technology which transforms the teaching of socio-ethical leadership at Morehouse College and extends its range of practice from a 20th century educational philosophy to a 21st century millennial lifestyle. The research produced from this project will quantify the effectiveness of a 21st century human computer interface, technology based, student leadership development approach at an undergraduate institution in comparison to its previous traditional forms of leadership instruction. This project will provide an opportunity to generate evidence-based data to support the use of technology to enhance the leadership development of millennials. Faculty members will create Surface Hub modules based on current course content and research on 20th century socio-ethical leaders, which display the application of the socio-ethical leadership model to the work of 21st century leaders in business, government, entertainment, STEM fields, etc.
