Abstract

The Government of the Russian Federation established the Development Program of Nursing in 2010. The objective of this program is to modernize education and training of nurses using distance learning technologies. The program includes several steps: using distance learning technologies in the postgraduate education for nurses; organization of training courses for medical school teachers using modern technologies; providing software products and apps for practical public health care and in the educational process.
This paper investigates the implementation and adoption of the Development Program of Nursing. The results will help shape the future development of customer oriented Finnish educational programs that offered in transnational education to Russia.
